Dr. Aibel does not participate in any insurance plans and is considered an out-of-network provider.
This means that she cannot accept your insurance for payment. However, she will make every effort to assist you with the filing of the proper paperwork so that you may get reimbursed by your insurance carrier. However, this is not a guarantee that your insurance will reimburse you for your treatment. Every insurance policy is written differently so it is important that you speak to your insurance regarding your out-of-network mental health coverage prior to your first session.
Many insurance plans offer partial reimbursement for out-of-network mental health services. In order to check your coverage, contact your insurance and ask the following questions:
What are my out of network mental health insurance benefits?
What is my out of network deductible, and has it been met?
What is my out of network out of pocket max, and has it been met?
How many sessions per year does my out of network insurance cover?
What is the out of network coverage amount per therapy session? (Applicable therapy procedure codes include: 90791 intake, 90837 individual therapy, 90847/90847 family and couples therapy)
What time frame must claims be submitted to my insurance company?
